Designed for a luxurious Lakeland holiday home, the brief for Gatesgarth was for a modern and striking, high-end kitchen to complement the contemporary build.

So it was no surprise the clients chose our Blisco kitchen as the starting point. Cabinets & drawers in bright ColorCore Formica make a real design statement in this stunning setting.

The kitchen was designed with minimalism in mind. The large island unit is a stunning centrepiece, with an electric induction hob discreetly sunk into the island’s Dekton worktop. Being both heat and scratch resistant makes Dekton an excellent choice for a busy kitchen.

“A freestanding kitchen that plays with colour”

A convenient seating area is tucked neatly around the end of the island by the worktop’s overhang, providing the perfect space for informal dining. Deep drawers provide plenty of storage, keeping workspaces tidy and clutter-free. Appliances are hidden behind colourful cabinet fronts, while ovens and a microwave are built into a tall unit with storage above and below.

Gentle LED downlighting inset into oak shelving brightens the workspace, while at night creating a warm inviting glow.

This kitchen demands attention in any space.
