London Townhouse

This Victorian townhouse underwent a complete renovation, creating an open plan kitchen living area fit for modern life. A favourite element of ours is the choice of marble floor tiles, which, while still being practical, zone the kitchen beautifully. The freestanding island was designed to be an integral part of the whole space. This was a must for our client. With drawers for kitchen utensils on one side, and on the other a drawer for each family member to store away their bits and bobs, it works perfectly as a spot to prepare dinner or open the mail.

The flush fitting LED strips are fast becoming a popular element in a Rusland Movement kitchen, and we can see why. These versatile lights are a great way to illuminate a space without being obtrusive and seemed the obvious choice for this design.

We didn’t just stop at the kitchen; our clients set us the challenge of designing a dining table that could keep up with their fast-paced family lifestyle. The brief was to make a table that had all the benefits of being traditionally made while still being playful and modern in design. The slimline carbon fibre reinforced top was fitted with a lazy susan, both fun and perfect for sharing.
